XOR Media UML + MediaPower ARKKI = Powerful Workgroup MAM Collaboration

Greenville, New Hampshire (January 30, 2015) - KCET, Southern California’s premiere Community Broadcaster was faced with the daunting task to review years of program elements to determine rights for the production of their 50^th Anniversary Special. To simplify the process they turned to their ARKKI Media Asset Management (MAM) system to conveniently provide web-browser access to selected low-resolution copies of content transcoded on their XOR Media Universal MediaLibrary (UML) near-line shared storage system, one of three UMLs deployed at the facility.

The ARKKI MAM application runs directly on UML’s active-active storage controllers, the ideal platform for hosting ARKKI’s value-add frame-accurate browser application enabling access to KCET’s vast library video assets. The low cost, easy to deploy MAM system provides clients remote web access to high quality browsing of programming from anywhere they have internet access.
